5th day - I slept well last night. I went to bed at 11 pm and woke up at the alarm of my O2 at 6.30 am, but I continued sleeping until 7.07am. Pretty good sleep I must say, solid sleep thru. Probably because I did not take the pill.

This morning, half an hour after taking the pill, I felt a little dizzy. Not dizzy like you want to fall or faint, but dizzy as if you can't think proper. I dozed off in the train to work. Seems that I can't get enough of sleep. Have you ever experience being not able to grasp your thought, I mean you can still think right but it feels like you are in space. That's how I feel now.

Indecisive. I don't know if I should cross the road or should wait, and when I start to cross the road, I was very afraid that the oncoming vehicle will sped and knock me over. Usually, I can just cross the road without hesitation, know when to make the run or just walk casually. But under the medication, I don't seem to know what to do.

I've decided to eat lunch today, since I haven't had a proper meal for 4 days. I went to Delifrance to have a sandwich. Looked at the offers and saw what I wanted… "Beef Salad please…" the person at the counter looked confuse. "Huh? What?" "Beef Salad..." trying to control my poise and smiled. "Huh ? which one?" "One Beef Salad please" He still can't understand what I have ordered, and decided to use the offer card on the counter and pointed to the 'Beef Sandwich' and I said yes. He nodded. I was a bit annoyed at first, but when I look at the offer card again, it says 'Beef Sandwich'. Darn! and I was asking for Beef Salad, no wonder that person seems confused.

One of my friends said that her sister and a friend took Duramine in their attempt to lose weight. They experienced hallucinations, and the ability to see 'dead people' complete with sound effects. Her friend even sought the help of a Malay-medium (bomoh), because she thought that she was cast with black magic. Both claimed that they saw 'pontianak' and heard it shriek every night. I told her that would be nice, since Jazz won't take me to go ghost hunting with his friends.

As I am writing this, I feel a slight headache at the back of my head and dizzy.

More Side Effects of Duramine :

Duramine should not be used in people with high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid gland, epilepsy, a history of a psychiatric disorder, or a history of drug or alcohol abuse or dependency. This medication is also not suitable for pregnant women.

Adverse effects include dry mouth, headaches, insomnia, restlessness, nervousness, agitation, irregular heartbeat and, rarely, psychosis and hallucinations.
