Annual Congregation

Mata aku ngantuk. Dah 6 hari cuti pun, masih belum puas tidur. Penat pack-unpack-pack-unpack, letih masih belum hilang. Losah-losah'an banyak. Ada yang dah aku cuci and lipat, tapi masih banyak lagi yang tunggu waktu untok masuk washing machine. Silap silap haribulan aku hantar dobi. Baru padan muka aku.

Mana tak penat, tiap malam tidur jam 4 pagi, tu dah bukan kira malam lagi daaaah... tu dah dekat subuh. Jam 8 pagi, mata automatic berbuka, sebab matahari dah bersinar. Mata aku macam ni lah, tak boleh kena cahaya sikit pun, tak boleh lelap. Walaupun cahaya dari lampu charger talipon or punat aircon. Susah betul dapat penutup mata yang tipis macam aku punya. Cahaya boleh tembus.

Niat hati tu, boleh lah dapat tidur dengan aman, sebab boleh dengar ombak laut and bau laut, tapi hampeh. Mana tak nya, tiap malam ketawa macam nak pecah anak tekak. Macam macam kerenah budak budak ni. Yang kena keroyok lain, yang muntah dalam mulut lain, yang menyanyi lagu budak kecik lain...

Bila main Charade lagi macam nak giler, semua tak mau kalah. Terpekik pekau. Nasib baik tahun ni tak de yang tertelan jamban, kalau tidak lagi kecoh.

The morning after, we had a friendly visitor from the neighbourhood committee

We went to the Zoo yesterday!

We finally made the trip to the Zoo yesterday. It was fun. Just me and the children. I have been wanting to go to the Zoo since whenever. It is always interesting to see the animals and their characters. You won't be surprise that some of the characters remind you of people that you've come across in your life. Good and bad.

It was a lovely walk in the afternoon.
