Di Ambeng May
Public Holiday. 1st May. We had a feast. Nasi Ambeng. I cooked the beef rendang, ikan goreng, paru goreng and made mee goreng just in case. Mary cooked sambal sotong, bergedil, tahu and tempe goreng and also sambal belacan. Hamidah helped us with her tasty serunding and garam assam. Mak Nyong made her famous Sambal Goreng Pengantin. Best.
Putting all these together in a big dulang meant for 4, was a rewarding experience. We had ours first before the rest of the guests come, and it was fulfilling I tell you!. Full stomach. Makan macam nak pecah perut.
What made me laughed so hard was when Thasim said "Eh... tak sangka boleh kenyang!" and when the 3 of them (Azha, Ulka and Thasim) were arguing who should finish the brinjal.
Ulka : Eh.. Sam, ni terung Lu belum makan.
Thasim : Amboi sedap nya cakap...! abis tadi Gua makan apa? Tebu?
Never have I seen them reject food before.

After that, I was too full to do anything else. Can't even lift the camera to take photos for the rest of the night.
