Post Bali Celeb

Last Friday, we had dinner at Straits Kitchen. I love this place as they have all the food that I like, but that visit was without Gulab Janum which made me a little dissapointed. But nonetheless, the food was superb, and the company was excellent!

An endless parade of local flavours from the halal-certified Chinese, Malay and Indian see-thru-kitchens including Laksa, Nasi Goreng, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Duck Rice, Buddha Jump over the Wall, Steamed Seabass, Chilli Crab, Carrot Cake, Nan, Bryani, Satay, Ayam masak Keluak, and Roti Prata with Chicken Curry. You name it, they have it. The dessert table was endless... they even have pineapple tart, goreng pisang, chendol, peanut cake...

But I realised that now, I can't eat as much as I want anymore. I used to be able to have second or third servings, but now, with only one serving I felt too full to move.

There was one instance while we were trying to work out the food, window shopping inTangs, that I actually puke in my mouth. Yucks! Hehehe... too much information here.
