A New Eatery. Move over Banquet... hello The Feast
We had our dinner at the newly opened Sakura on the 3rd floor of Jurong Point2. It feels nice to have a chance to choose between the Banquet and the Feast.
Probably because the place is brand new, and they are trying their best to attract customers, the service staff were extra ordinarily friendly. Or was it just 'US'?? We can choose anywhere to sit, and we can change seats if we are not comfortable with our first choice. How great was that!. At Sakura Far East Plaza, we can hardly say anything about the choice of seating. It is unheard of!
Basically, the food was okay. I ordered their Green Curry Beef with plain rice. Jazz had the liberty to eat what he wants, as there are more varities then what's in Banquet. So he ordered Fried Kway Teow with Cockles and Sharks Fin Soup.
The generous portion of sharks fin soup was out of the world. It has its wholesome flavour and the real sharks' fin, instead of the usual crab sticks that most eatery offers.
I still think that Green Curry from Siam Kitchen taste much better. But Sakura's works well too. To think that I have tasted better Green Curry in Australia is odd. But its true.
