Beemer and Sedap Corner

Last Saturday, just before Maghrib, I was picked up by a Beemer, a BMW. WooHoo. Fatah, has just collected his first car, a 3 Series BMW from Performance Motor at 3pm. And I am the first few people who was given the privilege to ride the brand new Beemer! - apart from his mum, Jazz and Tok Grundge (Jazz's dad) - Mary, later when we were going for dinner . It is so nice to be appreciated, especially from a young gun like Fatah, who in my opinion deserves every penny from his 'GBP-WOW kiss my ass figure' per year salary (or am I exaggerating?). I must have done something good that made him thinks I am one of the few who deserve such treatment. aaaah... (sigh of happiness)

Our first plan (before the Beemer suprise), was to have dinner at Teh Tarik. But when I was about the leave the house, all hell broke loose... "Stop right there... Fatah, Rozlyn and Bak are on their way to our house" the call was from Jazz and Mary, who were already reached Boon Lay interchange on their way to meet me, when their journey was interrupted by "Bak nak tumpang Maghrib, see you at home" call. So, there I was, unlocked the front door, and made my way back into the house. While waiting for waktu, another call came in. "Come down in 5 minutes, a Beemer is going to pick you up". Vokay! With jeans and mango top, I made my way out of the house, again. Without my faithful companion Canon PowerShot TX1. I wasn't dress for a BMW ride!

Anywhooo Teh Tarik is too modest for a Beemer... we went to Sedap Corner at Simpang Bedok for dinner. And the food were really SEDAAAAP, and the price was not too bad - the fact that the dinner was on Fatah. Free Dinner, Luxury Ride... what else can one ask for?

Chef Bob or Chef Scooter as he famously known, were the main Chef for Sedap Corner. Literally, it is his own joint, his own restaurant, his own place... or so I heard.

Mary and I had the Lamb Rack which was super delicious. Jazz had Vietnamese Beef Bee Hoon, the soup was out of this world ! Fatah had Surf and Turf, and the portion was huge. Rozlyn had Penang Kway Teow and Bak had his old time favourite Fish and Chips. Jamie, yes, the little princess, was with us, and she had the crispy calamari. All in all, the dinner was delicious and worth the travel from Jurong West to Simpang Bedok in a brand new BMW!

Tuari aku tumpang apa? tumpang apa? tumpang kebahagian orang? tumpang glamour?... aaaa... sekarang aku tumpang BMW pulak! Yerlah... bukan kereta aku.. kereta orang... aku kan tompang ajer...tapi dapat jugak tompang...wakakakaka... macam laaah aku ni tak pernah ada kereta eh

Be nice to me, and I will be doubly nice to you too. I am like an employment agent, people come to me to look for a job... I know people... and I have helped a few, most are appreciative, few were just assholes.
