I have been in and out of my 'own diet' plan ever since whenever. I am not a big build person by nature, (like some people I know), but when the fat took its place on the middle part of the body, I feel it's about time to lose some weight.
These past years, I have been indulging myself with whatever food that I can get my hands on, resulting to my current heavy weight champion. Of all my life, I have never been 60kg without being pregnant. But when I climbed on that scale at the Gym last week, I have a rude awakening! 59.3kg! Where in the name of God did I store all these fats? I don't feel any heavier though I look rounder, but I don't feel heavy at all. I guess this is the trap of obesity, you can't feel the weight that you carry! I have no intention to morph myself into such a fat lady, but I won't wait 'til this fat lady sing to start losing these excess fats!
My diet plan is simple. Just don't eat. My simple rule is 'eat when I am really, really hungry.' Usually it works like a charm, but nowadays, it just slowed me down and the fats still persistently staying and there is no news of them going away.
So to compliment my diet plan, I started exercising. Run the track for few rounds, or shall I say run for 2 laps, and walk 3 laps. Then to the Gym for an hour workout. I need to add swimming in one of the session because the pool looks so great from where I was working out.
I need to have a healthy diet. I have search the net for a tailored diet plan which most suited my daily habits, and I found some that don't really need me to sacrifice my taste buds and cravings. The key is to eat in proportion. It's not easy, but I am determine to make it work.
The easy part is, I am not a snack person, though I find chocolate is so irresistible, I am proud to say that I have limit my chocolate intake to quarter from my normal consumption. To banned chocolate totally from my diet, is impossible. Just like cigarette to some people, chocolate is my daily sin.
I can already see how important accountability is when trying to adhere to an eating regime: I got home from work, desperate for something chocolate. Yet, knowing that I'm going to be posting this to the whole world (even if the whole world isn't reading it!)–well, that's what basically prevented me from stopping at Watson's on the way home and buying a large-sized chocolate bar.
So, hopefully, by this natural way of dieting and exercising, without the help of doctor's prescription of drugs, I will lose some weight.
