Munch Again

I can't tell you how many times I've engaged in some serious meat-eating at Swensen's - yes, Swensen's.

Every time, we feel like ice-cream, we will head to Swensen's, but ended up eating a wallop of food. Plus the ice-cream, of course. We frequent Swensen's so much, we might as well have a booth to our names.

Our latest visit to Swensen's was last evening. Although we just had our treat of ice cream last Friday, Mary still have the craving for Swensen's signature dish the Mega Burger. I am not much of a burger fan myself, I mean those of the fast food restaurant chains, I would rather have a home-made burger if the time permits, but I find the Mega burger offered by Swensen's is to die for.

It is served with small bowl of coleslaw, generous portion of French fries, a pound ground beef burger, turkey ham, turkey bacon, lettuce, cheese, onions, tomato, slices of deep fried brinjal... yes brinjal mind you... and a sunny side up, between 2 soft burger buns. It's solid, two-fisted eating and too big even for the widest mouth, but small bites or cut it into half (which will make the burger look un-burger-ed) might render you some help.

When we left the table, we were satisfied and strutted out of the restaurant with our lips glistering from grease and fat. This is macho eating at its finest.

Amy, our waiting staff was friendly. Kudos to Amy for remembering us, and take the extra mile to make us feel comfortable, which makes us feel that we do leave a good impression and impact on others.
