So we went to Habour Front, because Mary wanted to buy the shoes that she saw the other night, which costs $19.90, which was too darn cheap in her standard.. On economic sense, it didn't worked out, since the taxi ride was $15.00 per trip.
When we got there, I went first into Wanko, as the store has 70% off. I need few tops for my work and ended up departing with $124.00 from my purse. Now how did that happen?
Next we went into Clarks, Jazz saw a swanky pair of shoes, which definitely fit his character and image. The price tag was $152.90, but since it was the last pair, they gave him 5% discount. While Jazz was trying out the shoes, Mary saw a $108.00 pair of sandals and she loved it instantly.
My GOD! what happened to the $19.90 shoes that she came here for?
M :"Del... I perkenan lah that shoes? I nak beli"
J : "You nak beli? okaylah...boleh... tapi Del yang the other shoes $19.90 tu tak payah"
M : :Okay lah..."
I can hear the half-half 'okaylah' in her tone.
hmm... I would have thought, generally a husband would say "You came here for the $19.90 kan, so buy that pair! yg ni mahal sangat for a pair of sandal"... but this is totally the opposite. This is unheard of.
After they've made a deal with each other, and happily came out from the store with a bag in each hands, I too made a purchase of a nice black bag from Clarks. Oh well... damage done. No turning back.
Then, as we passed the supposedly "we are here to buy $19.90 shoes", Mary went in, and came out with the shoes that were the cause of our revisting HabourFront, ever so happy. So the earlier deal that they've made, didn't matter at all. I just rolled my eyes.

For someone who suppose to sell shoes, she was being too honest with her comments, that might lose potential customers. Luckily, this customer had falls head over heals for the shoes, and no matter what she or we said, will change his mind.
After the obscene kind of shopping, we had lunch at Fig and Olive. A Halal Fusion Restaurant that served a wide menu, mostly from the Mediteranean. The food was good, and I would give a 8/10 scale. But the service was a so-so, as the waiting staff kept on coming over to clear our plates, while there were still food on our plates and I was still holding my cutleries.

Some people don't like my dress sense.
WHO CARES!

At Fig and Olive, the mussels and the prawns were succulent, and the olive rice was superb.

Damage for Fig & Olive : Mary's
The Strawberry cheesecake was delicious, and the blueberry cheesecake was out of the world.
Pacific Coffee is now our favourite coffee joint.

Me... fat
This is Barbara. She was seated next to me on the couch. She came with her parents. Her father Dr. Peter, is a scientist working at BioPolis, doing research for a new drug to fight cancer.

Barbara had some issues with Jazz, which was still unsolved when we left the place.
It was after maghrib when we took the cab from Vivo City. We headed to Azhar's parents place for the Doa Selamat for UD, who had just underwent a major operation to remove a tumor in his tummy.
All is well now, as he is recuperating. And my prayers goes to Mohammed Taqquiddin for his bravery.
