Assam Pedas Ikan Sembilang - (not Ikang Todak)

Semalam Erin ada tuition. Dah nearly 4 months Zizi has been tutoring Erin, and I can see so much improvements already. Different from her previous Tutor, Zizi is more serious on her teaching and keep taps with the school modules. The tuition would be either at Jazz's or at our's. But yesterday was at Jazz's. Zizi came straight from her U, in her new red Honda. Nowadays, children are so lucky... during my time, even a bicycle would be hard to ask for.

Anyways... Mariam cooked Assam Pedas Ikan Sembilang for me. She, herself doesn't eat Ikan Sembilang, neither does Jazz for certain reason, so the whole big pot of Assam Pedas is for me alone. Everytime I see Ikan Sembilang, memories of yesteryears keeps me smiling. Although I feel bad laughing at other's predicament, but those vision of swollen feet and hands, seems hilarious now. Anywho... those stories are only for me to keep.

So, back to Mariam's Assam Pedas Ikan Sembilang. I helped myself with 2 plates of rice... it was soooo good. And the best part was, I got to bring it home! So today, during lunch in the office, I had another meal of Assam Pedas Ikan Sembilang. For dessert, she made Bubur Kacang Hijau, which I think I am going to eat it now.

Nice... I tell you.
