Our Successful BBQ 13 - 16 April 07


We had our BBQ, a spin-off of our Hi-Tea congregation on 14 April 07. The turnout was tremendous and overwhelming. Good food with good friends.

From Black Pepper Crabs and Sop Tulang (from Dinz), Sop Rusuk, Nasi Goreng Campur (from Zie), Rojak Buah (Ani Hasman), Macaroni (Rukiah Ujang), Nasi putih with sambal telor, beef rendang (Azizah Aziz).

For the BBQ : Lamb chop and Sweet Corn (Zie), honey chicken wings, chicken wings with sambal, sotong, udang with sambal, ikan pari, ikan cencaru with sambal kicap, fish-balls, hot-dogs, etc. (Saharimah and Ani Hasman)

All drained down with Coke, Mug root-beer, fruit punch. And for deserts we had Mariam's Cheese Cake and Brownies, kek gulung from Latisah, Epok-epok sardin & kentang from Azizah Aziz and cocktail jelly by Ani Hasman.

It was a gastronomic experience alright.

It was a great night with great friends. Most stayed until 12 am, but some even stayed until 7 am. We stayed the night to accompany Dinz who was all tired and drenched standing by the fire all night, and left the chalet at about 10 am, Sunday morning.

Hopefully, these friends will stay friends forever, no matter what ever changes there will be in the future.
