New York ! New York !

I will be off to New York soon ! Jazz will be working there, and I will be staying at his sister, Amy's house. With 13 days of leave that I need to clear this year, it will be a long, long-awaited holiday. Erin is coming with us, just that she doesn't know it yet. She is so happy with the Malaysian trip I don't want to over excite her with the New York vacation. (Just hope that she doesn't read this before I break the news to her).

Amy is staying near Ground Zero, so I would be able visit the site and see it for myself. It would be great! Erin will love the plane ride as she did asked me yesterday "when are we going to ride on an airplane again mom?"

We are going to stop over in Paris on the way home to meet Zizi, Jazz's niece who has been there on school attachment for 4 months. We are coming back with her, just in time for the school to re-open.

Too bad that Mariam can't join us as she is left with a day of her Annual Leave for this year. But have promised to get something for her from the Big Apple.
