Dear my darling children

Allah has moved my heart and inspired me to write to you on an ongoing basis of lessons of life and love. Putting into practice what I preach, I am getting Papa alongside with me to counsel me, guide me and support me.

We love you all, and we believe that this series of letters will help us share our love and our experience in life with you, and we hope that you will make this as a guide for you to venture into the real world.

As parents we want the best for you, our children. The real world is very different from the world of dreams. The knight in shining armour who rescues the maiden and rides off on a white horse into the sunset to live happily ever after, with no clouds ever to darken their skies, is the stuff of fantasy and fairy tale. Fairy tales are fine for kids but as you grow up, you will find it difficult to cope with the real world. We believe that this letter will help to fill the gap.

If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.

Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, just like Papa always do. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

These series of letters will come to you when you least expected. And it comes from the bottom of our hearts, as we, Mama and Papa love you dearly, and we will always love you.

From

Mama Ziehan and Papa EZ Jazz
